Seguimiento de lotes

Capture and check batch lots, with expiry and quarantine control. Scan a lot to see exactly where it's stored, when it expires and whether it's free to use — and quarantine a bad batch so it can't be picked or shipped.

Rastrear un lote

Scan the lot. From Traceability → Lot tracking, pull the scan trigger over the lot number on the carton or label. The card shows the lot's status (available or quarantined), its expiry date and which SKU it belongs to.
Check the on-hand by location. Scroll the card to see every bin holding this lot and how much is in each — so you know exactly where the batch lives.
Quarantine the lot to block it. Tap Quarantine, pick a reason, and confirm — the whole lot is held and can no longer be picked or shipped.
Release the lot when it's cleared. Tap Release to put it back to available, and it returns to normal picking.

Escanea el lote. En Trazabilidad → Seguimiento de lotes, pulsa el gatillo sobre el número de lote de la caja o etiqueta. La tarjeta muestra el estado del lote (disponible o en cuarentena), su fecha de caducidad y a qué SKU pertenece.
Consulta el on-hand por ubicación. Desplaza la tarjeta para ver cada ubicación que contiene este lote y cuánto hay en cada una — así sabes exactamente dónde está el lote.
Pon el lote en cuarentena para bloquearlo. Toca Cuarentena, elige un motivo y confirma — todo el lote queda retenido y ya no se puede preparar ni expedir.
Libera el lote cuando esté autorizado. Toca Liberar para devolverlo a disponible y vuelve a la preparación normal.

FEFO = first-expiry-first-out. The app guides pickers to the oldest lot first, so the batch nearest its expiry leaves the building before a fresher one.FEFO = primero en caducar, primero en salir. La app guía a los preparadores hacia el lote más antiguo primero, para que el lote más cercano a su caducidad salga antes que uno más fresco.

Holding a suspect batch. You scan lot L2406 of SKU WIDGET-22. The card shows status Available, expiry 2026-12, on-hand split across bins A-12-03 and B-02-01. QC reports a defect, so you tap Quarantine, pick a reason, and confirm — the whole lot is held in both bins and no picker can take it. Once it's cleared, tap Release to return it to available.

Good practice: at pick time follow FEFO — take the soonest-expiring lot the app points you to, even if a fresher one is closer to hand. Lot-tracked SKUs need a lot number to be received — the receive line won't confirm until you scan or enter it. A GS1 carton barcode usually fills the lot and expiry for you in one scan, so you just confirm the quantity.

Los SKU con seguimiento de lotes necesitan un número de lote para recibirse — la línea de recepción no se confirma hasta que lo escaneas o lo introduces. Un código GS1 de la caja suele rellenar el lote y la caducidad en un solo escaneo, así que solo confirmas la cantidad.

When stock is picked, the app automatically reaches for the oldest lot first (first-expiry-first-out). A lot that has reached its expiry date — or that QA has quarantined — is taken out of the running and won't be offered to a picker.

Cuando se prepara stock, la app toma automáticamente el lote más antiguo primero (primero en caducar, primero en salir). Un lote que ha llegado a su fecha de caducidad — o que calidad ha puesto en cuarentena — queda fuera de juego y no se le ofrece a un preparador.

An expired or quarantined lot can't be picked or shipped — there's no override. Release the quarantine, or dispose of expired stock via an adjustment, before it can move again.Un lote caducado o en cuarentena no se puede preparar ni expedir — no hay forma de saltárselo. Common issues

Problemas habituales

The lot is blocked and won't pick: It's expired or quarantined — there's no override. Pick an alternate lot the app offers, and have QA release the quarantine or an adjustment dispose of expired stock.
There are two lots of the same SKU: That's normal — FEFO decides the order. Take the soonest-expiring lot the app points to first; don't choose by hand.
The expiry date looks wrong: Expiry is captured at receiving — don't work around it. Raise it with QC so the lot record can be corrected at source.
I can't quarantine the lot: Quarantine and release may need QA permission — you might not have the role. Ask a supervisor or QA to hold the lot.

El lote está bloqueado y no se prepara: Está caducado o en cuarentena — no hay forma de saltárselo. Prepara un lote alternativo que ofrezca la app, y que calidad libere la cuarentena o un ajuste deseche el stock caducado.
Hay dos lotes del mismo SKU: Es normal — el FEFO decide el orden. Toma primero el lote que caduca antes, el que la app indica; no elijas a mano.
La fecha de caducidad parece incorrecta: La caducidad se captura en la recepción — no la sortees. Repórtalo a calidad para que se corrija el registro del lote en origen.
No puedo poner el lote en cuarentena: La cuarentena y la liberación pueden requerir permiso de calidad — quizá no tengas el rol. Pide a un supervisor o a calidad que retenga el lote.
