TermMeaning
ARCAArgentina's tax authority (formerly AFIP). It authorises each invoice.
ArqueoCounting the cash in the drawer and comparing it with what the system expects.
CAEThe authorisation code the tax authority gives to each invoice. An invoice without CAE is not valid.
CajaA cashier's shift on a point of sale, from opening to closing. Also called sesión.
Cajón físicoThe physical drawer where the cash is kept. It can belong to one cashier or be shared.
ComprobanteThe fiscal document of a sale: an invoice or a credit note.
Consumidor finalA customer who is not identified by CUIT.
CUITThe tax identification number of a company or person, with eleven digits.
Factura A / B / CThe types of invoice. Which one is issued depends on the tax condition of your company and of the customer.
GestiónThe management area: history, returns, recovery, reports and administration.
HomologaciónThe tax authority's test environment. Its invoices have no fiscal validity.
MostradorThe counter area: selling and handling the till.
Nota de crédito (NC)The document that reverses all or part of an invoice. It is issued by a return.
ProducciónThe real environment. Its invoices are legal and are declared.
Punto de venta (PV)The fiscal number under which invoices are numbered. Each open till uses one.
Reintegro / ReembolsoMoney given back to the customer.
Reporte ZThe final summary of a closed till.
SelloThe code that identifies the exact content of a Z report.
TenderA payment method, or a payment registered on a sale.
ToleranciaThe cash difference a branch accepts at closing.
VueltoWhat is given back to the customer when they pay more than the total.
TérminoQué significa
ARCAEl organismo fiscal de Argentina (antes AFIP). Autoriza cada comprobante.
ArqueoContar el efectivo del cajón y compararlo con lo que espera el sistema.
CAEEl código de autorización que el organismo fiscal le da a cada comprobante. Un comprobante sin CAE no vale.
CajaEl turno de un cajero sobre un punto de venta, desde que abre hasta que cierra. También se le dice sesión.
Cajón físicoEl cajón donde se guarda el efectivo. Puede ser de un solo cajero o compartido.
ComprobanteEl documento fiscal de una venta: una factura o una nota de crédito.
Consumidor finalUn cliente que no se identifica por CUIT.
CUITEl número de identificación tributaria de una empresa o persona, de once dígitos.
Factura A / B / CLos tipos de factura. Cuál sale depende de la condición fiscal de tu empresa y de la del cliente.
GestiónEl área de gestión: historial, devoluciones, recuperación, reportes y administración.
HomologaciónEl ambiente de prueba del organismo fiscal. Sus comprobantes no tienen validez fiscal.
MostradorEl área del mostrador: vender y manejar la caja.
Nota de crédito (NC)El documento que revierte una factura, entera o en parte. La emite una devolución.
ProducciónEl ambiente real. Sus comprobantes son legales y se declaran.
Punto de venta (PV)El número fiscal bajo el cual se numeran los comprobantes. Cada caja abierta usa uno.
Reintegro / ReembolsoPlata que se le devuelve al cliente.
Reporte ZEl resumen definitivo de una caja cerrada.
SelloEl código que identifica el contenido exacto de un reporte Z.
TenderUn medio de pago, o un pago registrado en una venta.
ToleranciaLa diferencia de efectivo que acepta una sucursal al cerrar.
VueltoLo que se le devuelve al cliente cuando paga con de más.
