Transfers

Transferencias

A transfer moves stock without changing how much you have. Inside one warehouse it is a single step. Between warehouses it is a transfer order.

Una transferencia mueve stock sin cambiar cuánto tenés. Dentro de un depósito es un solo paso. Entre depósitos es una orden de transferencia.

Move stock between two locations of a warehouse

Mover stock entre dos ubicaciones de un depósito

Find the row in Inventory and choose Transfer in its menu. The product, the lot and the origin come filled in.
Check From Location and choose the To Location. Both lists show locations of the same warehouse.
Choose the Lot if the product has lots. It has to be the lot that is in the origin.
Type the Quantity.
Press Transfer. The units leave one location and enter the other at once.

Buscá la fila en Inventario y elegí Transferir en su menú. El producto, el lote y el origen vienen cargados.
Revisá Ubicación de origen y elegí la Ubicación de destino. Las dos listas muestran ubicaciones del mismo depósito.
Elegí el Lote si el producto lleva lotes. Tiene que ser el lote que está en el origen.
Escribí la Cantidad.
Tocá Transferir. Las unidades salen de una ubicación y entran en la otra en el momento.

You can move only what is Available in the origin: reserved and damaged units stay.
The move is recorded in the movement history as a pair, Transfer Out and Transfer In, joined by a link icon.
What you write in Notes is not saved with the movement.

Podés mover solo lo que está Disponible en el origen: las unidades reservadas y dañadas se quedan.
El movimiento queda en el historial como un par, Transferencia de salida y Transferencia de entrada, unidas por un ícono de enlace.
Lo que escribas en Notas no se guarda con el movimiento.

Create a transfer order between warehouses

Crear una orden de transferencia entre depósitos

Open Transfer Orders and press New Transfer.
Type anything in Order Number. The form requires it, but the system assigns its own number, such as TO-000001.
Choose From Warehouse and To Warehouse. They must be different and the destination must be active.
Set the Priority (Low, Normal, High, Urgent) and write the reason in Notes (optional).
Press Create Order. The order is created as a draft; click its number to open it.
Press Add Line, search the product, type the Requested Qty, choose the Lot if it has one, and add the line. Repeat for each product. Lines can be added only while the order is a draft, and a line cannot be changed or removed afterwards.
Press Submit. The order needs at least one line.

Abrí Órdenes de Transferencia y tocá Nueva transferencia.
Escribí cualquier cosa en Número de orden. El formulario lo pide, pero el sistema asigna su propio número, como TO-000001.
Elegí Depósito de origen y Depósito de destino. Tienen que ser distintos y el destino tiene que estar activo.
Poné la Prioridad (Baja, Normal, Alta, Urgente) y escribí el motivo en Notas (opcional).
Tocá Crear orden. La orden se crea en borrador; hacé clic en su número para abrirla.
Tocá Add Line, buscá el producto, escribí la Cantidad solicitada, elegí el Lote si tiene, y agregá la línea. Repetí por cada producto. Las líneas se agregan solo mientras la orden está en borrador, y una línea no se puede cambiar ni quitar después.
Tocá Submit. La orden necesita al menos una línea.

After Submit the order cannot be moved forward from these screens yet. A submitted order shows as Pending approval and neither the list nor the order page offers the buttons to approve, receive or cancel it. Submit only orders you are sure about, and ask your administrator how transfers between warehouses are completed in your company.Después de Submit la orden todavía no se puede hacer avanzar desde estas pantallas. Una orden enviada figura como Pendiente de aprobación y ni la lista ni la página de la orden ofrecen los botones para aprobarla, recibirla o cancelarla. Enviá solo las órdenes de las que estés seguro, y consultá con tu administrador cómo se completan las transferencias entre depósitos en tu empresa.

Statuses of a transfer order

Estados de una orden de transferencia

Status	Meaning	What it allows
Draft	Being prepared.	Add lines, submit, cancel.
Pending approval	Submitted, waiting for approval.	Nothing from these screens today.
Approved	Authorised to leave.	Ship: takes the requested quantity of each line out of the origin warehouse.
In transit	It left the origin and has not arrived. The units are in neither warehouse.	Receiving, which puts the units into the first receiving location of the destination.
Received	It arrived at the destination.	Complete, which only closes the order.
Completed	Closed.	Nothing.
Cancelled	Cancelled before leaving.	Nothing.

Recibida	Llegó al destino.	Complete, que solo cierra la orden.
Completada	Cerrada.	Nada.
Cancelada	Cancelada antes de salir.	Nada.

An order always ships and receives the full requested quantity of every line. There is no partial shipment or partial receipt.
Creating or submitting an order does not reserve stock.
To cancel a draft, use Cancel Order in the row menu or on the order page and confirm.
On the order page the main button and some texts are in English in both languages (Submit, Ship, Complete, Add Line).

Una orden siempre despacha y recibe la cantidad solicitada completa de cada línea. No hay despacho parcial ni recepción parcial.
Crear o enviar una orden no reserva stock.
Para cancelar un borrador, usá Cancelar orden en el menú de la fila o en la página de la orden y confirmá.
En la página de la orden el botón principal y algunos textos están en inglés en los dos idiomas (Submit, Ship, Complete, Add Line).

Common issues

Problemas habituales

"Insufficient available quantity. Available: …": The origin does not have that many units free. The message shows how many are available.
"No inventory at source location": The product is not in that location with that lot. Check the lot.
"Source and destination warehouses must be different": Choose a different destination warehouse.
"Warehouse is inactive and cannot accept new inbound work": The destination warehouse is inactive. Activate it or choose another one.
"Transfer order must have at least one line before submitting": Add a line and submit again.
"Cannot add lines to a transfer order in status …": The order is no longer a draft. Create a new order for what is missing.
The number I typed is not the one on the order: The system always assigns the number. What you type in Order Number is not used.
The In Transit filter and card are empty: They do not show orders today. Use All Statuses and read the status of each row.

«Insufficient available quantity. Available: …»: El origen no tiene tantas unidades libres. El mensaje muestra cuántas hay disponibles.
«No inventory at source location»: El producto no está en esa ubicación con ese lote. Revisá el lote.
«Source and destination warehouses must be different»: Elegí otro depósito de destino.
«Warehouse is inactive and cannot accept new inbound work»: El depósito de destino está inactivo. Activalo o elegí otro.
«Transfer order must have at least one line before submitting»: Agregá una línea y enviá de nuevo.
«Cannot add lines to a transfer order in status …»: La orden ya no está en borrador. Creá una orden nueva para lo que falta.
El número que escribí no es el de la orden: El sistema siempre asigna el número. Lo que escribís en Número de orden no se usa.
El filtro y la tarjeta En tránsito están vacíos: Hoy no muestran órdenes. Usá Todos los estados y leé el estado de cada fila.
