Alertas de reposición y reabastecimiento
Reorder settings tell the system how low a product may go in a warehouse before you have to buy more. Replenishment rules do the same for one picking location that is refilled from storage.
La configuración de reposición le dice al sistema hasta dónde puede bajar un producto en un depósito antes de que haya que comprar más. Las reglas de reabastecimiento hacen lo mismo para una ubicación de preparación que se rellena desde el almacenamiento.
Set the levels of a product

- Open Reorder & Alerts and press New Config. You can also start from Set reorder threshold… on a row of Inventory.
- Choose the product and the Warehouse. There is one configuration per product and warehouse.
- Type the Reorder Point: the available quantity below which an alert is raised.
- Type the Reorder Quantity: how much to ask for. It has to be more than zero.
- Fill in the optional levels you use (see the table) and save.
- Abrí Reposición y Alertas y tocá Nueva Configuración. También podés empezar desde Definir umbral de reposición… en una fila de Inventario.
- Elegí el producto y el Almacén. Hay una configuración por producto y depósito.
- Escribí el Punto de reposición: la cantidad disponible por debajo de la cual se genera una alerta.
- Escribí la Cantidad de reposición: cuánto pedir. Tiene que ser mayor que cero.
- Completá los niveles opcionales que uses (mirá la tabla) y guardá.

In the Configs tab the pencil edits the main levels in the row itself: Enter saves and Esc cancels. Edit Config in the menu opens the whole form, and Deactivate stops the configuration from raising alerts. A deactivated configuration cannot be turned on again from this screen.
En la pestaña Configuraciones el lápiz edita los niveles principales en la misma fila: Enter guarda y Esc cancela. Editar Config en el menú abre el formulario completo, y Desactivar hace que la configuración deje de generar alertas. Una configuración desactivada no se puede volver a activar desde esta pantalla.
Check levels and handle the alerts

Alerts do not appear by themselves. The system compares stock with the levels only when someone presses Check Levels. Make it a routine, for example at the start of each day.Las alertas no aparecen solas. El sistema compara el stock con los niveles solo cuando alguien toca Revisar niveles. Convertilo en rutina, por ejemplo al empezar cada día.
- Go to the Alerts tab and press Check Levels. For each active configuration, the system adds up the available quantity of the product in the whole warehouse; if it is below the reorder point and there is no alert in course for it, it creates one.
- Read each alert: current stock against the reorder point, and the suggested quantity to order.
- Choose Acknowledge in the menu when you take charge of it.
- Choose Resolve when it is dealt with, for example once the purchase order is placed.
- Andá a la pestaña Alertas y tocá Revisar niveles. Para cada configuración activa, el sistema suma la cantidad disponible del producto en todo el depósito; si está por debajo del punto de reposición y no hay una alerta en curso para él, crea una.
- Leé cada alerta: stock actual contra punto de reposición, y la cantidad sugerida para pedir.
- Elegí Reconocer en el menú cuando te hacés cargo.
- Elegí Resolver cuando está atendida, por ejemplo una vez hecha la orden de compra.

- The tab opens showing only the open alerts. Change Alert Status to see the others.
- Acknowledging and resolving do not change stock and do not create a purchase order: the purchase is made in Purchasing.
- While a product has an open or acknowledged alert, no second alert is created for it in that warehouse.
- In the table, the chips of acknowledged and resolved alerts and the person who handled them appear in English and as an internal identifier.
- La pestaña abre mostrando solo las alertas abiertas. Cambiá Estado de Alerta para ver las demás.
- Reconocer y resolver no cambian el stock ni crean una orden de compra: la compra se hace en Compras.
- Mientras un producto tiene una alerta abierta o reconocida, no se crea una segunda alerta para él en ese depósito.
- En la tabla, las etiquetas de las alertas reconocidas y resueltas y la persona que las atendió figuran en inglés y como identificador interno.
Replenishment rules
Reglas de reabastecimiento
A replenishment rule watches one product in one location, usually a picking location, and asks to refill it when it runs low.
Una regla de reabastecimiento vigila un producto en una ubicación, normalmente de preparación, y pide rellenarla cuando se queda corta.
- Open Replenishment, stay on the Rules tab and press New Rule.
- Choose the Warehouse, the product, the Target Location to keep filled and the Source Zone where the reserve is.
- Type the three quantities so that Trigger Qty is not above Min Qty, and Min Qty is not above Max Qty. A task is created when the location has Trigger Qty or less, for what is missing to reach Max Qty.
- Press Create Rule.
- Abrí Reabastecimiento, quedate en la pestaña Reglas y tocá Nueva regla.
- Elegí el Depósito, el producto, la Ubicación destino que hay que mantener llena y la Zona de origen donde está la reserva.
- Escribí las tres cantidades de modo que Cant. de disparo no supere Cant. mín., y Cant. mín. no supere Cant. máx. Se crea una tarea cuando la ubicación tiene Cant. de disparo o menos, por lo que falta para llegar a Cant. máx.
- Tocá Crear regla.

A rule cannot be edited, turned off or deleted from this screen. Check the location and the quantities before creating it.Una regla no se puede editar, desactivar ni borrar desde esta pantalla. Revisá la ubicación y las cantidades antes de crearla.
Replenishment tasks
Tareas de reabastecimiento
- Go to the Tasks tab and press Check & Generate. As with alerts, tasks are created only when someone presses this button. A rule that already has a task in course does not get another.
- Choose Assign… on a pending task, pick the Worker and confirm.
- Choose Start when the person begins and Complete when the location is refilled.
- Record the movement. Move the units to the target location with a transfer.
- Andá a la pestaña Tareas y tocá Chequear y Generar. Igual que con las alertas, las tareas se crean solo cuando alguien toca este botón. Una regla que ya tiene una tarea en curso no recibe otra.
- Elegí Asignar… en una tarea pendiente, elegí el Operario y confirmá.
- Elegí Iniciar cuando el operario empieza y Completar cuando la ubicación quedó rellena.
- Registrá el movimiento. Pasá las unidades a la ubicación destino con una transferencia.

Completing a replenishment task does not move stock. It only closes the task. If you do not record the transfer, the system keeps showing the target location empty and the next check creates the task again.Completar una tarea de reabastecimiento no mueve stock. Solo cierra la tarea. Si no registrás la transferencia, el sistema sigue mostrando la ubicación destino vacía y la próxima revisión vuelve a crear la tarea.
A task goes from pending to assigned, in progress and completed, in that order. Cancel drops it at once, without asking, from any status before completed. The origin always shows as Bulk: the task does not say from which location to take the goods.
Una tarea pasa de pendiente a asignada, en curso y completada, en ese orden. Cancelar la descarta en el momento, sin preguntar, desde cualquier estado anterior a completada. El origen figura siempre como A granel: la tarea no dice de qué ubicación sacar la mercadería.
Common issues
Problemas habituales
- "Check complete — all stock levels are within thresholds"
- No product is below its reorder point, or the ones that are already have an alert in course.
- "Low-stock threshold must be greater than or equal to the reorder point."
- Raise the low-stock threshold or lower the reorder point.
- "Check the values: quantity > 0, and low-stock ≥ reorder point."
- A value edited in the row breaks a rule. Correct it and press Enter again.
- "reorder_point must be >= min_quantity"
- The reorder point is below the minimum quantity. Lower the minimum or raise the reorder point.
- "Failed to create reorder config"
- Most often there is already a configuration for that product and warehouse. Edit the existing one.
- "Failed to create rule"
- The quantities are not in order. Trigger must not be above minimum, and minimum must not be above maximum.
- The search does not find a product by its code
- In these two screens the search box does not match product codes or names. Use the status filter and scroll the list.
- A product is low and has no alert
- Either it has no configuration, or nobody pressed Check Levels since it went down.
- «Check complete — all stock levels are within thresholds»
- Ningún producto está por debajo de su punto de reposición, o los que lo están ya tienen una alerta en curso.
- «El umbral de stock bajo debe ser mayor o igual que el punto de reposición.»
- Subí el umbral de stock bajo o bajá el punto de reposición.
- «Revisá los valores: cantidad > 0 y stock bajo ≥ punto de reposición.»
- Un valor editado en la fila rompe una regla. Corregilo y tocá Enter de nuevo.
- «reorder_point must be >= min_quantity»
- El punto de reposición quedó por debajo de la cantidad mínima. Bajá el mínimo o subí el punto de reposición.
- «Error al crear la configuración de reposición»
- Lo más habitual es que ya exista una configuración para ese producto y depósito. Editá la que existe.
- «No se pudo crear la regla»
- Las cantidades no están en orden. El disparo no puede superar el mínimo, y el mínimo no puede superar el máximo.
- El buscador no encuentra un producto por su código
- En estas dos pantallas el buscador no encuentra por código ni por nombre de producto. Usá el filtro de estado y recorré la lista.
- Un producto está bajo y no tiene alerta
- O no tiene configuración, o nadie tocó Revisar niveles desde que bajó.
