Guardado
Putaway takes the goods from the location where they were received to the location where they will be stored. Each confirmed receipt leaves its tasks ready.
El guardado lleva la mercadería de la ubicación donde se recibió a la ubicación donde va a quedar almacenada. Cada recepción confirmada deja sus tareas listas.
Where the tasks come from

You do not create putaway tasks. When a goods receipt is confirmed, the system creates one task for each line with units received: for the full received quantity, from the location where the receipt left the goods, pending and without anyone assigned.
Las tareas de guardado no se crean a mano. Cuando se confirma una recepción, el sistema crea una tarea por cada línea con unidades recibidas: por toda la cantidad recibida, desde la ubicación donde la recepción dejó la mercadería, pendiente y sin nadie asignado.
Each task comes with a suggested destination: the usual location of the product if it is active and can receive; otherwise, the first location of the warehouse that can receive.
Cada tarea viene con un destino sugerido: la ubicación habitual del producto si está activa y puede recibir; si no, la primera ubicación del depósito que pueda recibir.

Open the Tasks tab. The columns are SKU / Qty, Location Route (origin, suggested destination and, once done, the real destination), Status and Assigned To. Filter by Status or search by product code.
Abrí la pestaña Tareas. Las columnas son SKU / Cant., Ruta de Ubicación (origen, destino sugerido y, una vez hecha, el destino real), Estado y Asignado a. Filtrá por Estado o buscá por código de producto.

Complete a task from the back office
Completar una tarea desde el back-office
- Assign it. In the menu of a pending task choose Assign to User, paste the identifier of the user in the box and confirm with the tick. The box says User ID or name, but only the internal identifier of the user is accepted.
- Press Start when the person begins.
- Press Confirm. The box Actual location comes filled in with the suggested destination: leave it as it is and confirm with the tick.
- Asignala. En el menú de una tarea pendiente elegí Asignar a usuario, pegá el identificador del usuario en el casillero y confirmá con el tilde. El casillero dice ID o nombre de usuario, pero solo se acepta el identificador interno del usuario.
- Tocá Iniciar cuando el responsable empieza.
- Tocá Confirmar. El casillero Ubicación real viene cargado con el destino sugerido: dejalo como está y confirmá con el tilde.
- Confirming moves the full quantity of the task from the origin to the destination and completes it. To put away only a part, or in a different location chosen by scanning, use the handheld.
- The destination has to be in the same warehouse, active and able to receive. If it has a limit of units, the goods have to fit.
- Cancel Task… asks Cancel task?; answer Yes. It does not move stock.
- Confirmar mueve toda la cantidad de la tarea del origen al destino y la completa. Para guardar solo una parte, o en otra ubicación elegida escaneando, usá la terminal.
- El destino tiene que estar en el mismo depósito, activo y habilitado para recibir. Si tiene un límite de unidades, la mercadería tiene que entrar.
- Cancelar tarea… pregunta ¿Cancelar la tarea?; contestá Sí. No mueve stock.
The Rules tab
La pestaña Reglas
The Rules tab lets you record putaway rules with a name, a priority, a target zone type and a target location type, and turn them on and off. Today the destination suggested on the tasks does not use these rules: it is chosen as described above.
La pestaña Reglas permite cargar reglas de guardado con un nombre, una prioridad, un tipo de zona destino y un tipo de ubicación destino, y activarlas y desactivarlas. Hoy el destino sugerido en las tareas no usa estas reglas: se elige como se describe más arriba.
Common issues
Problemas habituales
- "Put-away task was already claimed by another operator."
- Someone took the task before you assigned it. Refresh the list.
- "Invalid status transition from … to IN_PROGRESS"
- Only an assigned task can be started. Assign it first.
- "Destination bin not found."
- The Actual location box does not hold a valid location. Leave the suggested value.
- "Destination bin is in a different warehouse than the staged stock."
- The destination has to be in the same warehouse as the origin.
- "Destination bin is inactive."
- Activate the location, or complete the task on the handheld scanning another one.
- "Destination bin can't receive put-away (not a receivable location)."
- The location is not marked as receivable. Edit it and tick it. See Setting up a warehouse.
- "Destination bin is full (capacity …, on hand …) — scan another bin."
- The goods do not fit in the unit limit of the location. Raise the limit or put away in another location from the handheld.
- "Insufficient available quantity. Available: …"
- The origin no longer has the units of the task, because they were moved or adjusted. Cancel the task.
- A confirmed receipt left no tasks
- Tasks are created for lines with units received. If none appears, move the goods with a transfer.
- «Put-away task was already claimed by another operator.»
- Alguien tomó la tarea antes de que la asignaras. Actualizá la lista.
- «Invalid status transition from … to IN_PROGRESS»
- Solo se puede iniciar una tarea asignada. Asignala primero.
- «Destination bin not found.»
- El casillero Ubicación real no tiene una ubicación válida. Dejá el valor sugerido.
- «Destination bin is in a different warehouse than the staged stock.»
- El destino tiene que estar en el mismo depósito que el origen.
- «Destination bin is inactive.»
- Activá la ubicación, o completá la tarea en la terminal escaneando otra.
- «Destination bin can't receive put-away (not a receivable location).»
- La ubicación no está marcada como recepcionable. Editala y tildala. Mirá Armar un depósito.
- «Destination bin is full (capacity …, on hand …) — scan another bin.»
- La mercadería no entra en el límite de unidades de la ubicación. Subí el límite o guardá en otra ubicación desde la terminal.
- «Insufficient available quantity. Available: …»
- El origen ya no tiene las unidades de la tarea, porque se movieron o se ajustaron. Cancelá la tarea.
- Una recepción confirmada no dejó tareas
- Las tareas se crean para las líneas con unidades recibidas. Si no aparece ninguna, mové la mercadería con una transferencia.
