Contratos de proveedor y precios por volumen

A contract records the terms you agreed with a supplier and for how long. Volume price tiers record the price the supplier gives you from a certain quantity upward.

Un contrato deja asentadas las condiciones que acordaste con un proveedor y por cuánto tiempo. Los niveles de precio por volumen dejan asentado el precio que te da el proveedor a partir de cierta cantidad.

Create a contract

Crear un contrato

  1. Go to Supplier Contracts and press New contract.
  2. Type the Contract number and choose the supplier in Supplier account.
  3. Fill in the terms if they differ from the usual ones: Payment terms override and Incoterm.
  4. Set the validity. Start date is required. Leave End date empty for a contract without an end; if you fill it in, it has to be after the start date.
  5. Tick Dropship contract if the supplier ships directly to your customers.
  6. Add notes if needed and press Create contract.
  1. Entrá a Contratos de proveedor y tocá Nuevo contrato.
  2. Escribí el Número de contrato y elegí el proveedor en Cuenta de proveedor.
  3. Completá las condiciones si difieren de las habituales: Sustitución de condiciones de pago e Incoterm.
  4. Cargá la vigencia. Fecha de inicio es obligatoria. Dejá Fecha de fin vacía para un contrato sin vencimiento; si la completás, tiene que ser posterior a la de inicio.
  5. Marcá Contrato de envío directo si el proveedor despacha directo a tus clientes.
  6. Agregá notas si hace falta y tocá Crear contrato.

A new contract is active from the moment you create it. Once it exists, you can choose it in Contract (optional) when you load that supplier's products in the supplier catalog.

Un contrato nuevo queda activo desde que lo creás. Una vez que existe, lo podés elegir en Contrato (opcional) cuando cargás los productos de ese proveedor en el catálogo de proveedores.

Buscar, cambiar o cancelar un contrato

The cards at the top count the contracts by situation and work as filters: All contracts, Active, Draft, Expired and Cancelled. A contract shows as expired when its end date has passed. The search box finds by contract number.

Las tarjetas de arriba cuentan los contratos por situación y funcionan como filtros: Todos los contratos, Activos, Borradores, Vencidos y Cancelados. Un contrato figura como vencido cuando ya pasó su fecha de fin. El buscador encuentra por número de contrato.

The Supplier column shows a short code instead of the supplier's name. To recognise a contract, use its number. Contracts do not have a detail page yet: to see or change one, use Edit.La columna Proveedor muestra un código corto en vez del nombre del proveedor. Para reconocer un contrato, guiate por su número. Los contratos todavía no tienen página de detalle: para ver o cambiar uno, usá Editar.

Cargar precios por volumen

Volume Price Tiers lists every row of the supplier catalog with its base price and how many volume tiers it has. The cards at the top filter by All SKUs, Flat price (no tiers), Single tier and Multi-tier.

Niveles de precio por volumen lista todas las filas del catálogo de proveedores con su precio base y cuántos niveles por volumen tiene. Las tarjetas de arriba filtran por Todas las SKU, Precio único (sin niveles), Un nivel y Varios niveles.

  1. Press New volume price and pick the product in Supplier SKU. To change the tiers of a row that is already in the list, open its three-dot menu and choose Edit tiers instead.
  2. Check the currency of the price ladder. It starts on the currency of the base price and applies to all the tiers.
  3. Add a tier with Add tier: type the quantity from which the price applies in Min qty and the price in Unit price. The vs base column shows how far the tier is from the base price.
  4. Repeat for each quantity break. Two tiers cannot start at the same quantity.
  5. Save. The button says Create tiers the first time and Replace tiers afterwards.
  1. Tocá Nuevo precio por volumen y elegí el producto en SKU del proveedor. Para cambiar los niveles de una fila que ya está en la lista, abrí su menú de tres puntos y elegí Editar niveles.
  2. Revisá la moneda de la escala de precios. Arranca en la moneda del precio base y vale para todos los niveles.
  3. Agregá un nivel con Agregar nivel: escribí la cantidad desde la que vale el precio en Cant. mín. y el precio en Precio unitario. La columna vs base muestra cuánto se aleja el nivel del precio base.
  4. Repetí para cada salto de cantidad. Dos niveles no pueden empezar en la misma cantidad.
  5. Guardá. El botón dice Crear niveles la primera vez y Reemplazar niveles después.

Saving replaces the whole ladder. What you save is the complete list of tiers for that product: a tier you removed from the screen is deleted.Guardar reemplaza toda la escala. Lo que guardás es la lista completa de niveles de ese producto: un nivel que sacaste de la pantalla se borra.

Volume tiers are reference information. When you create an order, the form proposes the base price of the catalog, not the tier price: if the quantity reaches a tier, type that price on the line yourself.Los niveles por volumen son información de consulta. Cuando creás una orden, el formulario propone el precio base del catálogo, no el precio del nivel: si la cantidad alcanza un nivel, escribí vos ese precio en la línea.

Common issues

Problemas habituales

"Check the price ladder"
A tier with a larger quantity has a price that is not lower than the previous one. It is a warning, not an error: you can save, but check that you did not swap two prices.
"Duplicate minimum quantity …"
Two tiers start at the same quantity. Change one of them.
"Fix the highlighted issues before saving"
A tier has an empty or negative quantity or price, or the currency is missing.
"No supplier SKUs yet — add one in the supplier catalog first"
Tiers hang from a row of the supplier catalog. Create that row first.
"End date must be after the start date"
Correct the dates of the contract, or leave the end date empty.
The price range of a row says Mixed
That product has tiers in more than one currency, so a single range cannot be shown. Open Edit tiers and save: the ladder is left in one currency.
«Revise la escala de precios»
Un nivel de mayor cantidad tiene un precio que no es menor que el anterior. Es un aviso, no un error: podés guardar, pero fijate que no hayas cruzado dos precios.
«Cantidad mínima duplicada …»
Dos niveles empiezan en la misma cantidad. Cambiá uno.
«Corrija los problemas señalados antes de guardar»
Un nivel tiene la cantidad o el precio vacío o negativo, o falta la moneda.
«Aún no hay SKU de proveedor — agregue uno en el catálogo de proveedores primero»
Los niveles cuelgan de una fila del catálogo de proveedores. Creá primero esa fila.
«La fecha de fin debe ser posterior a la fecha de inicio»
Corregí las fechas del contrato, o dejá la fecha de fin vacía.
El rango de precio de una fila dice Mixta
Ese producto tiene niveles en más de una moneda y no se puede mostrar un único rango. Abrí Editar niveles y guardá: la escala queda en una sola moneda.
