Kubrik comes with a set of roles ready to use, most of them in pairs: a manager who works in a module and a viewer who only looks.

In Roles & Permissions each role is a line with its name, its code and a label. Open a line to see the exact permissions of the role, module by module.

| Platform | A role maintained by Kubrik and shared by every organization. You can use it and clone it, but not change or delete it. |
| System | A role that comes with your organization. It cannot be changed or deleted either; you can clone it. |
| Custom | A role created in your organization. You can change everything about it. |
| Deprecated | A role kept only for the users who already hold it. Do not give it to new users. |

A manager role gives read and write permissions on most of its module, not necessarily on all of it, and lets the person act on the approval tasks assigned to them. A viewer role gives read permissions only. When the difference matters, open the role and read the list.Un rol de responsable da permisos de lectura y escritura sobre la mayor parte de su módulo, no necesariamente sobre todo, y le deja a la persona actuar sobre las tareas de aprobación que le asignan. | Standard User (USER) | Nothing by itself. The person can sign in and see the dashboard and their profile. Combine it with a module role. |
| Viewer (VIEWER) | Nothing by itself, like Standard User. To let someone only look, use the viewer role of each module. |
| Data Protection Officer (DPO) | Privacy work on customers: read customer accounts and their consents, record consents, run the compliance actions and read the CRM audit log. |
| Fiscal Admin (FISCAL_ADMIN) | Read the companies of the organization, to check their tax data. It cannot edit. |

This module splits the work among several people, so it has a role for each job.
Este módulo reparte el trabajo entre varias personas, así que tiene un rol para cada tarea.

| PPE — Pricing Manager (PPE_PRICING_MANAGER) | Create and maintain price lists, their prices and who they apply to, and see the margin reports. It does not create promotions. |
| PPE — Marketing Manager (PPE_MARKETING_MANAGER) | Create and activate promotions, coupons and markdown campaigns. It does not edit price lists. |
| PPE — Approver (PPE_APPROVER) | Decide the approvals of price changes, promotions, markdowns and margin exceptions. Not the discounts requested at the point of sale. |
| PPE — POS Supervisor (PPE_POS_SUPERVISOR) | Approve the discounts above the limit that are requested from the point of sale. Nothing else. |
| PPE — Analyst (PPE_ANALYST) | Read everything in the module, reports included, without changing anything. |
| PPE — Rules Engineer (PPE_RULES_ENGINEER) | Write and publish advanced promotion rules. For trained people only. |

Roles you can ignore
Roles que podés ignorar
The list also carries roles of modules that are no longer offered: Bakery Manager, Bakery Viewer, Content Manager, Content Viewer, E-Commerce Manager and E-Commerce Viewer. They give no access to any module. Do not use them.
La lista trae además roles de módulos que ya no se ofrecen: Bakery Manager, Bakery Viewer, Content Manager, Content Viewer, E-Commerce Manager y E-Commerce Viewer. No dan acceso a ningún módulo. No los uses.
Common issues
Problemas habituales
- A role of the table is not in my list
- The roles shown can vary with what your organization has. Use the search box Filter roles... with part of the name or the code.
- The Services roles appear twice
- Your organization can carry its own copy of PSA Manager and PSA Viewer next to the shared ones, with the same code. Giving the role gives both.
- A built-in role allows too much or too little
- Clone it, adjust the copy and give the copy to your users. See Roles of your own.
- The names of the roles are in English
- The names and descriptions of the built-in roles are not translated.
- Un rol de la tabla no está en mi lista
- Los roles que se muestran pueden variar según lo que tenga tu organización. Usá el buscador Filtrar roles... con parte del nombre o del código.
- Los roles de Servicios aparecen dos veces
- Tu organización puede tener su propia copia de PSA Manager y PSA Viewer al lado de los compartidos, con el mismo código. Al dar el rol se dan los dos.
- Un rol incluido permite demasiado o demasiado poco
- Clonalo, ajustá la copia y dales la copia a tus usuarios. Mirá Roles propios.
- Los nombres de los roles están en inglés
- Los nombres y las descripciones de los roles incluidos no están traducidos.
