Cómo funciona el acceso
A person enters with a user. The user holds roles, and each role is a list of permissions. Knowing these three pieces is enough to decide who sees what.
Una persona entra con un usuario. El usuario tiene roles, y cada rol es una lista de permisos. Con esas tres piezas alcanza para decidir quién ve qué.

| User | One person in your organization: an e-mail, a password, a first name and a last name. The e-mail is what the person types to sign in, together with the Tenant ID of the organization. |

| Permission | The right to do one thing in one area of one module: read it, write it, or a specific action such as approving. |

What a user can do is the sum of the permissions of all the roles they hold. There is no way to give a permission directly to a user: it always goes through a role.
Lo que un usuario puede hacer es la suma de los permisos de todos los roles que tiene. No hay forma de darle un permiso directo a un usuario: siempre pasa por un rol.
What decides whether a screen opens
Qué decide si una pantalla se abre
For a person to use a screen, three things have to be true at the same time.
Para que una persona use una pantalla tienen que cumplirse tres cosas a la vez.
- The plan includes the module. Kubrik sets this for your organization. A module outside the plan cannot be used by anyone.
- The module is switched on for your organization. You decide this in My modules (see the chapter My modules in the Getting started section of the Kubrik OS manual).
- One of the user's roles has the permission. This is what you manage in this section.
- El plan incluye el módulo. Esto lo define Kubrik para tu organización. Un módulo fuera del plan no lo puede usar nadie.
- El módulo está encendido para tu organización. Lo decidís vos en Mis módulos (mirá el capítulo Mis módulos de la sección Primeros pasos del manual de Kubrik OS).
- Alguno de los roles del usuario tiene el permiso. Esto es lo que manejás en esta sección.
The menu follows the same rule: each person sees only the modules and screens they can open. If someone types the address of a screen they have no permission for, the system takes them to the dashboard.
El menú sigue la misma regla: cada persona ve solo los módulos y las pantallas que puede abrir. Si alguien escribe la dirección de una pantalla para la que no tiene permiso, el sistema lo lleva al panel.
The administrator of the organization

The role Tenant Administrator gives full access inside the organization: every module that is switched on, plus the Settings area where users, roles and the rest of the configuration live. The person who created the organization's account has this role from the first day, and can give it to others.
El rol Tenant Administrator da acceso completo dentro de la organización: todos los módulos encendidos, más el área Ajustes donde están los usuarios, los roles y el resto de la configuración. La persona que creó la cuenta de la organización tiene este rol desde el primer día, y puede dárselo a otros.

When a change takes effect
Cuándo se aplica un cambio
A change of roles or of the permissions of a role is applied within about a minute. The menu of the person affected is refreshed the next time they sign in, so ask them to sign out and sign in again. This matters most when you give or take away Tenant Administrator.
Un cambio de roles o de los permisos de un rol se aplica en más o menos un minuto. El menú de la persona afectada se actualiza la próxima vez que ingresa, así que pedile que salga y vuelva a ingresar. Esto importa sobre todo cuando das o quitás Tenant Administrator.
Common issues
Problemas habituales
- A user says a module is missing from their menu
- Check the three conditions in order: the module is in the plan, it is switched on in My modules, and one of the user's roles has permissions on it. Then ask the user to sign out and sign in again.
- A user is sent to the dashboard when opening a screen
- None of their roles has the permission for that screen. Give them a role that includes it.
- Can I limit a user to one branch or one warehouse?
- Not from Settings today. Roles apply to the whole organization.
- Can I see or change the plan, the feature switches or the usage limits?
- No. Kubrik manages them for your organization. Contact Kubrik support.
- I do not see Settings in my menu
- You are not an administrator of the organization. Ask someone who holds Tenant Administrator.
- Un usuario dice que le falta un módulo en el menú
- Revisá las tres condiciones en orden: el módulo está en el plan, está encendido en Mis módulos, y alguno de los roles del usuario tiene permisos sobre él. Después pedile al usuario que salga y vuelva a ingresar.
- A un usuario lo manda al panel cuando abre una pantalla
- Ninguno de sus roles tiene el permiso de esa pantalla. Dale un rol que lo incluya.
- ¿Puedo limitar a un usuario a una sucursal o a un almacén?
- Hoy no desde Ajustes. Los roles valen para toda la organización.
- ¿Puedo ver o cambiar el plan, los interruptores de funciones o los límites de uso?
- No. Los maneja Kubrik para tu organización. Contactá al soporte de Kubrik.
- No veo Ajustes en mi menú
- No sos administrador de la organización. Pedíselo a alguien que tenga Tenant Administrator.
