Leer el resultado y corregir lo que falló

When the import ends, the stages table tells you how much was created and how much failed. This chapter explains how to read it, how to find the reason for a failure and how to load what was left out.

Read the stages table

Leer la tabla de etapas

Column	What it tells you
Proposed	How many records the stage found in the file.
Created	How many it really created in this run.
Failed	How many could not be created. It turns red when it is not zero.
Status	Whether the stage was only previewed, was written, or was skipped.

Created can be lower than Proposed without anything being wrong. A record that already existed is not created again and is not counted as failed either: it is simply left as it was. What matters is Failed. In Attributes, for example, the two attributes are created by the first import and every later import shows zero created.Creados puede ser menor que Propuesto sin que haya nada mal. Un registro que ya existía no se vuelve a crear y tampoco se cuenta como fallido: simplemente queda como estaba. Lo que importa es Fallidos. En Atributos, por ejemplo, los dos atributos los crea la primera importación y todas las siguientes muestran cero creados.

Click the stage that shows a number in Failed.
Read the box with the red background below the sample. It lists the reason for each failure, up to fifty for each stage.
Find the row in your file with the code or the name that the message mentions.

Hacé clic en la etapa que muestra un número en Fallidos.
Leé el recuadro de fondo rojo debajo de la muestra. Lista el motivo de cada falla, hasta cincuenta por etapa.
Buscá la fila en tu archivo con el código o el nombre que menciona el mensaje.

duplicate sku_code in file: …	Two rows of the file have that code. The first one was loaded and the second one was not.	Give the second row its own code and import again.
family not found for SKU …	The product the SKU belongs to could not be created, so the SKU was not created either.	Look at the failures of Product families first: the cause is there.
SKU not found for price: … · SKU not found for cost: …	The SKU failed in its own stage, so there was nothing to put the price or the cost on.	Solve the failure of the SKU and import again.
Any other text	It is the reason given by the catalogue when it rejected the record, for example a name or a code it does not accept.	Correct that value in the file and import again.

SKU not found for price: … · SKU not found for cost: …	El SKU falló en su propia etapa, así que no había dónde poner el precio o el costo.	Resolvé la falla del SKU e importá de nuevo.
Cualquier otro texto	Es el motivo que dio el catálogo al rechazar el registro, por ejemplo un nombre o un código que no acepta.	Corregí ese valor en el archivo e importá de nuevo.

The messages are written in English and are shown as the system produced them.

Los mensajes están escritos en inglés y se muestran tal como los produjo el sistema.

Importing the same file again is safe: what was already created is left as it is and only what is missing is created.

Importar de nuevo el mismo archivo es seguro: lo que ya se creó queda como está y se crea solo lo que falta.

Correct the rows that failed in your file. Do not change the rows that were loaded well.
Press Import another file or Start over and upload the corrected file.
Repeat the mapping, with the same SKU code prefix you used the first time.
Run the import and check that Failed is zero.

Corregí las filas que fallaron en tu archivo. No cambies las filas que se cargaron bien.
Tocá Importar otro archivo o Empezar de nuevo y subí el archivo corregido.
Repetí el mapeo, con el mismo Prefijo de código SKU que usaste la primera vez.
Ejecutá la importación y revisá que Fallidos quede en cero.

Do not rename the products that were already loaded. A product is recognised by its section and its name, and a SKU without a code by its name and the prefix. If you change the name, the section title or the prefix, the second import does not find the first record and creates a duplicate.No les cambies el nombre a los productos que ya se cargaron. Un producto se reconoce por su sección y su nombre, y un SKU sin código por su nombre y el prefijo. Si cambiás el nombre, el título de la sección o el prefijo, la segunda importación no encuentra el primer registro y crea un duplicado.

While the import runs, the button Cancel import replaces the others. Press it and the import stops when the stage it is working on finishes; the message Import cancelled. confirms it. What was created up to that moment stays created.

Mientras la importación corre, el botón Cancelar importación reemplaza a los otros. Tocalo y la importación se detiene cuando termina la etapa en la que está trabajando; el mensaje Importación cancelada. lo confirma. Lo que se creó hasta ese momento queda creado.

The first screen shows Recent imports: the last six files uploaded in your company, with their status and date. Click one to open it. If it was only analysed, it opens on the mapping. If it is running or it finished, it opens on the stages table with its figures.

La primera pantalla muestra Importaciones recientes: los últimos seis archivos subidos en tu empresa, con su estado y su fecha. Hacé clic en uno para abrirlo. Si solo se analizó, se abre en el mapeo. Si está corriendo o terminó, se abre en la tabla de etapas con sus cifras.

Common issues

Problemas habituales

Created is zero in every stage: Everything in the file already existed, usually because the file was imported before. Nothing was changed.
The prices of my SKUs did not change: The import does not replace a price that already exists in the list. It only adds prices to SKUs that had none there.
"Import failed:" appears alone, with no text after it: The import stopped before finishing. Open the stages to see how far it got and whether one of them lists failures, then run it again: what was created is not repeated.
It says Import complete but the figures are not all there: On very long imports the screen stops following the progress after about ten minutes and shows the import as complete. Open the file again from Recent imports to see the real status.
A stage says it was skipped: That stage could not write because the module it needs is not part of your installation, for example prices without the pricing module. The other stages are not affected.
"Import failed: Import is not running …" when I press Cancel import: The import had already finished when you pressed the button. Open the file from Recent imports to see its figures.
There are more than fifty failures and I only see fifty: Only the first fifty reasons of each stage are kept. Correct those, import again and the next ones will appear.

Creados es cero en todas las etapas: Todo lo que había en el archivo ya existía, por lo general porque el archivo se importó antes. No se cambió nada.
Los precios de mis SKU no cambiaron: La importación no reemplaza un precio que ya existe en la lista. Solo agrega precios a los SKU que no tenían ahí.
Aparece «La importación falló:» solo, sin texto después: La importación se detuvo antes de terminar. Abrí las etapas para ver hasta dónde llegó y si alguna lista fallas, y después ejecutala de nuevo: lo que se creó no se repite.
Dice Importación completa pero no están todas las cifras: En importaciones muy largas la pantalla deja de seguir el avance después de unos diez minutos y muestra la importación como completa. Abrí de nuevo el archivo desde Importaciones recientes para ver el estado real.
Una etapa dice que se omitió: Esa etapa no pudo escribir porque el módulo que necesita no forma parte de tu instalación, por ejemplo los precios sin el módulo de precios. Las otras etapas no se ven afectadas.
«La importación falló: Import is not running …» al tocar Cancelar importación: La importación ya había terminado cuando tocaste el botón. Abrí el archivo desde Importaciones recientes para ver sus cifras.
Hay más de cincuenta fallas y veo solo cincuenta: Se guardan solo los primeros cincuenta motivos de cada etapa. Corregí esos, importá de nuevo y van a aparecer los siguientes.
