Copilot can advise, act with your confirmation, or work on its own under written rules. This chapter explains the difference and the usual route to set an agent to work.

Copilot puede aconsejar, actuar con tu confirmación, o trabajar por su cuenta bajo reglas escritas. Este capítulo explica la diferencia y el recorrido habitual para poner un agente a trabajar.

Three ways of working

Tres formas de trabajar

Way	In plain words	Who decides each change
It advises	A person chats with Copilot at the consultant level. Copilot reads and recommends.	Nobody: no change is possible.
It acts with confirmation	A person chats at the executor level. Copilot prepares each change as a card.	The person in the conversation, card by card.
It acts with less asking	A person chats at the autonomous level. Low-risk actions, such as a note, run without a card.	The person, for everything except those low-risk actions.
It works on its own under rules	An agent runs without anyone typing: on a schedule or when someone presses Run now. What it may do is written in its mandate.	The mandate: each action is done automatically, sent to a named role for confirmation, or refused.

What an agent is

Qué es un agente

An agent is a named worker of your organisation, with a code, a name and the modules it works on.
It has no level. Its limits are its mandate, not consultant, executor or autonomous.
It does not borrow anyone's permissions. A scheduled run acts on behalf of nobody.
Without an active mandate it can only read.
What it finds, it reports in a briefing; what it wants to change, it leaves as a proposal for a person, unless its mandate allows that action to run unattended.

Un agente es un trabajador con nombre de tu organización, con un código, un nombre y los módulos sobre los que trabaja.
No tiene nivel. Sus límites son su mandato, no consultant, executor ni autonomous.
No toma prestados los permisos de nadie. Una corrida programada actúa en nombre de nadie.
Sin un mandato activo solo puede leer.
Lo que encuentra, lo informa en un briefing; lo que quiere cambiar, lo deja como propuesta para una persona, salvo que su mandato permita que esa acción se ejecute sin supervisión.

Agents run only if your installation has background runs turned on. That is a setting of the server, not of this screen. If it is off, a run you start ends as Failed with the text "No agent turn runtime is wired; the run cannot execute", and schedules are saved but never fire. Ask whoever operates your Kubrik installation.Los agentes corren solo si tu instalación tiene encendidas las corridas de fondo. Es un ajuste del servidor, no de esta pantalla. Si está apagado, una corrida que arrancás termina como Falló con el texto «No agent turn runtime is wired; the run cannot execute», y las agendas se guardan pero nunca disparan. Consultá a quien opera tu instalación de Kubrik.

The usual route

El recorrido habitual

Create the agent. It starts as a draft. See Creating and managing agents.
Write its mandate and have it activated. See Writing the mandate.
Start the agent with Resume: activating the mandate does not start it.
Give it a schedule and say who receives its briefing. See Scheduling an agent.
Follow its runs and read what it did. See Following runs.
Decide what it proposes, one proposal at a time or as a plan. See Plans.
Pause it when something looks wrong. See Stopping something.

Creá el agente. Arranca como borrador. Mirá Crear y administrar agentes.

Common issues

Problemas habituales

I do not see Agents in the menu: You need the permission to view agents and mandates. Ask your administrator.
I see Runs in the menu but it sends me back to the dashboard: Runs, schedules and briefings need their own permission, separate from the one for agents. Ask your administrator.

No veo Agentes en el menú: Necesitás el permiso para ver agentes y mandatos. Consultá a tu administrador.
Veo Corridas en el menú pero me devuelve al tablero: Las corridas, las agendas y los briefings requieren su propio permiso, distinto del de agentes. Consultá a tu administrador.
