Límites, costo y uso
Every question to Copilot costs money at the AI provider. A monthly limit keeps that cost bounded, and two screens show where it goes.
Cada pregunta a Copilot cuesta dinero en el proveedor de IA. Un límite mensual mantiene ese costo acotado, y dos pantallas muestran en qué se va.
How the monthly limit works

An organisation can have two monthly caps, and both are shared by everyone: the chat, the agents and the summaries of approval requests all count.
Una organización puede tener dos topes mensuales, y los dos son compartidos por todos: cuentan el chat, los agentes y los resúmenes de pedidos de aprobación.
- A spend cap: the estimated cost of the month.
- A call cap: the number of requests to the AI model in the month. One question from a user can be several calls.
- A cap of zero means no cap. A new organisation starts with no caps: set them.
- The month is the calendar month in your organisation's time zone. The counters go back to zero on the first day.
- There is no limit per user. One heavy user can use up the month for everybody.
- Un tope de gasto: el costo estimado del mes.

- Un tope en cero significa sin tope. Una organización nueva arranca sin topes: ponelos.

The cost shown is an estimate that Kubrik calculates from the amount of text processed and a price list for each model. The amount your provider invoices is the one that counts; compare both from time to time.El costo que se muestra es una estimación que Kubrik calcula a partir de la cantidad de texto procesado y una lista de precios por modelo. See usage and change the limit

In AI Config, the card Usage and budget shows Spent this period, Calls this period, Remaining to the cap and Resets. The label Near the cap appears past the warning level.
En Configuración de IA, la tarjeta Uso y presupuesto muestra Gastado en el período, Llamadas en el período, Resta hasta el tope y Se reinicia. La etiqueta Cerca del tope aparece pasado el nivel de aviso.
- Press Edit budget.
- Type the Spend cap and the Call cap for the month. Zero removes that cap.
- If the new cap is below what was already used this month, the window asks you to type a confirmation phrase: saving will pause AI for everyone at once.
- Press Save budget. The notice says "Budget saved."
- Tocá Editar presupuesto.
- Escribí el Tope de gasto y el Tope de llamadas del mes. Cero quita ese tope.
- Si el tope nuevo es menor que lo ya consumido este mes, la ventana te pide escribir una frase de confirmación: guardar va a pausar la IA para todos de inmediato.
- Tocá Guardar presupuesto. El aviso dice «Presupuesto guardado.»

Edit budget needs the permission to change the organisation's limits. Out of the box the organisation administrator can see the card but does not hold that permission: the limits are changed by whoever operates the installation. If you do not see the button, ask them.Editar presupuesto requiere el permiso para cambiar los límites de la organización. Below, the Usage ledger has one row for each request to the AI model: Occurred, Consumer (what used it), Workload, Model, Tokens, Cost and Outcome. Filter by consumer or model, and press Export CSV to take it to a spreadsheet.

Statistics shows how Copilot is used over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or a range you choose. Filter by module, access level, user or action.

Recent queries shows what each person asked, with their name. Everyone who can open Statistics sees it. Give that permission with the same care as any other access to personal data, and tell your users that their questions are visible to administrators.Consultas recientes muestra qué preguntó cada persona, con su nombre. Lo ve todo el que puede abrir Estadísticas. Dá ese permiso con el mismo cuidado que cualquier otro acceso a datos personales, y avisales a tus usuarios que los administradores pueden ver sus preguntas.
Common issues
Problemas habituales
- "This tenant reached its monthly AI spend budget …" (or request budget)
- A cap was reached. Raise it, or wait for the first day of the month.
- "Copilot requests are refused until the limit is raised or the month rolls over."
- The same: the card is telling you AI is paused.
- I do not see Edit budget
- You lack the permission to change the organisation's limits. Ask whoever operates your installation.
- The cost here and the provider's invoice differ
- The cost here is an estimate. Trust the invoice, and compare the totals by key in Spend by API key.
- "No activity in this window."
- Nobody used Copilot in the dates chosen. Widen the range.
- "Failed to load statistics"
- The request failed. Reload the page.
- «This tenant reached its monthly AI spend budget …» (o request budget)
- Se alcanzó un tope. Subilo, o esperá al primer día del mes.
- «Las solicitudes del Copilot se rechazan hasta que se aumente el límite o cambie el mes.»
- Lo mismo: la tarjeta te está diciendo que la IA está pausada.
- No veo Editar presupuesto
- Te falta el permiso para cambiar los límites de la organización. Pedíselo a quien opera tu instalación.
- El costo de acá y la factura del proveedor no coinciden
- El costo de acá es una estimación. Confiá en la factura, y compará los totales por clave en Gasto por clave de API.
- «Sin actividad en esta ventana.»
- Nadie usó Copilot en las fechas elegidas. Ampliá el rango.
- «Error al cargar las estadísticas»
- La solicitud falló. Recargá la página.
