Módulos e interruptores de funciones
What your organization can use is decided in layers: the plan, the modules you switch on and the roles. This chapter explains how the layers fit and what happens when you switch a module off.
Lo que tu organización puede usar se decide por capas: el plan, los módulos que encendés y los roles. Este capítulo explica cómo encajan las capas y qué pasa cuando apagás un módulo.

What switching a module off does
Qué hace apagar un módulo
- It affects everyone at once, administrators included. The module leaves the menu and its pages stop opening.
- The information is kept. Nothing the module holds is deleted. When you switch it on again, everything is where it was.
- The roles are kept, but they stop counting. The permissions that roles have on that module have no effect while it is off, and return when it is on again. You do not have to touch the roles.
- It can drag other modules. If another module needs the one you are switching off, the confirmation names it and it is switched off too.
- It is recorded. Each change appears in the audit log with who made it.

- Queda registrado. Cada cambio aparece en el registro de auditoría con quién lo hizo.
What switching a module on does not do
Qué no hace encender un módulo
Switching a module on makes it available to the organization, but gives nobody permission to use it. After switching it on, give the people who need it a role of that module, or they will not see it. Tenant Administrator already covers every module.
Encender un módulo lo deja disponible para la organización, pero no le da a nadie permiso para usarlo. Después de encenderlo, dales a las personas que lo necesitan un rol de ese módulo, o no lo van a ver. Tenant Administrator ya cubre todos los módulos.
Feature switches
Interruptores de funciones
Besides whole modules, Kubrik can turn single functions on or off for your organization. An organization administrator cannot see or change these switches. If a function that this manual describes does not appear on your screens, and the module is on and the role is right, the function may be switched off for your organization: ask Kubrik support.
Además de módulos enteros, Kubrik puede encender o apagar funciones puntuales para tu organización. Un administrador de la organización no puede ver ni cambiar estos interruptores. Si una función que describe este manual no aparece en tus pantallas, y el módulo está encendido y el rol es el correcto, puede que la función esté apagada para tu organización: consultá al soporte de Kubrik.
Common issues
Problemas habituales
- A module I need is listed under Not included in your plan
- It is outside the plan. It cannot be switched on from My Modules. Contact Kubrik to change the plan.
- I switched a module on and nobody sees it
- No role of those users has permissions on it. Give them a role of that module and ask them to sign out and sign in again.
- I switched a module off and a role lost its permissions
- It did not lose them: they do not count while the module is off, and the role editor shows only the modules your organization can use. Switch the module on and they are back.
- A module shows the label Read-only
- Kubrik left it so that people can consult it but not change anything in it. Contact Kubrik support.
- Who switched a module off?
- Look in the audit log. See the section Security and audit.
- Un módulo que necesito figura en No incluidos en tu plan
- Está fuera del plan. No se puede encender desde Mis Módulos. Contactá a Kubrik para cambiar el plan.
- Encendí un módulo y nadie lo ve
- Ningún rol de esos usuarios tiene permisos sobre él. Dales un rol de ese módulo y pediles que salgan y vuelvan a ingresar.
- Apagué un módulo y un rol perdió sus permisos
- No los perdió: no cuentan mientras el módulo está apagado, y el editor de roles muestra solo los módulos que tu organización puede usar. Encendé el módulo y vuelven.
- Un módulo muestra la etiqueta Solo lectura
- Kubrik lo dejó para que la gente pueda consultarlo pero no cambiar nada. Contactá al soporte de Kubrik.

- Miralo en el registro de auditoría. Mirá la sección Seguridad y auditoría.
